Our History

Genesis Emergency Ambulance was started after noting the shortage of ambulances in the far North of Limpopo Province. Genesis Emergency Ambulance is privately owned.We are serving the interest of individuals, communities, companies, government and business community. We are 150 Km from Polokwane (Limpopo Medi Clinic) and 104 Km from Tzaneen (Tzaneen Medi clinic) of which are referral hospitals.There is one coal mining area Tshikondeni mine in one of our operational areas and attractive Lodges with Kruger National Park (Thohoyandou- Malamulele areas).There is a big dam that was finished recently, Nandoni (Thohoyandou and Nsami dam) which is currently under construction. One historically university is also in our operational area University of Venda.

The first one is situated in Giyani (Head Office) and the second one is Thohoyandou base (branch) the third on is Phalaborwa base (branch)Operational coverage:Greater Giyani, Malamulele up to Kruger National Park, Saselamani, Thohoyandou, Mutale, Makhado, Musina, Vuwani, Nzhelele, Sekgosese, Bungeni, Elim and Tiyani areas.Regions:Thohoyandou is the former capital of the independent homeland and the proud heart of the VhaVenda people. It's name means "head of the elephant" in tshiVenda. The town is the commercial, administrative and legislative centre for the district. It is a bustling centre of commerce, well served with shopping complexes, an interesting museum and a hotel and casino of international standard. Thohoyandou is situated in the south of Venda, on the main road between Louis Trichardt and the Kruger National Park. This is the lush agricultural centre of Venda, with its banana plantations, acres of sub-tropical fruit, tobacco and maize lands. Coffee and tea plantations grace the higher slopes. It is a well-populated area, dotted with tidy villages. Each home expresses the character of its owner with low encircling walls being delightfully decorated with traditional motifs.It is home to the University of Venda. The town is the commercial, administrative and legislative center for the traditional Venda community. Giyani is a small village situated some 160 kilometres to the east of Polokwane. The village was once the administrative centre and capital of the Shangaan-Tsonga homeland. Giyani is situated in an area of the lowveld just outside the Kruger National Park and is in an area surrounded by Mopane trees and scattered with the occasional Baobab.Giyani is privileged in being host to one of the nation's science and technology centres and as such enjoys visits from many otherwise underprivileged schools in Limpopo Province. Here the pupils are able to enjoy computer lessons and see what the Internet is all about as well as being able to take part in many experiments that they would otherwise not be able to do.Local attractions include the Manomba Nature Reserve just outside the town and the Nsami Dam, a peaceful recreation area to the northeast of the village.Phalaborwa is a town (131,000 inhabitants) situated in the Mopani district, halfway up along the length of the Kruger National Park in the Limpopo province in South Africa. The Lowveld, also known as Valley of the Olifants, has the highest winter temperatures in South Africa. The rainfall is low and the average winter temperatures range from 10.9 to 25.2 °C. During summer the average temperatures vary from 20 to 47 °C with occasional heavy rainfall.Originally a mining town (and still home to the Palabora Mining Company), it has developed over the years into a tourist attraction. PMC's open cast mine is Africa's widest man-made hole at almost 2,000 meters wide. Tourism and wildlife play a dominant role in the life of this town. It is the only town in South Africa that borders the Kruger National Park, the Mozambiquan border is only two hours away. The Hans Merensky Golf Estate is situated on the edge of town.
